What I Did This Weekend

Another project finished!

A year ago, I washed, starched and ironed these doll dresses my mom made for me when I was little. Finally, this weekend, I spray painted the frames and mounted the dresses on fabric covered foam core!

I love them hanging in my sewing room!

I love it! I may have to copy that! Are those the Alice in Wonderland dresses from Aunt Bessy?

Yes, you may copy that! I copied it from someone! No, these are doll dresses Mom made when I was little bitty for a now bald tammy tears doll.

This is a great idea. I have a dress my grandma made for me when I was in first grade for a spring play...a farmers wife dress. I think I might try and press it real good and hang it over my grandmothers sewing machine....what a great idea.
