Kind of like today's post!
The wind is blowing like a hurricane here and has been for the last two days. We are under a burn ban and everyday there is a new fire somewhere. Nothing says spring like the smell of burnt grass, right?
Les has decided to coin a new, oh, what are those things called? You know, like LOL? Or ROFL? Well, his had to do with laughter also--CTM--Chuckle to Myself--It's appropriate for use whenever something gives you a little chuckle! We've been using it on Facebook and we are waiting on it to go viral.....
Go ahead, use it! He won't charge you! CTM. It makes me giggle a little just to type it!
I've been updating library and laptop computers at work for the past week. I'm kinda sick of them so that's why there's been no new posts. That and I can't think of anything to write.
My baby turned 19 Saturday. We had a birthday party and her cake was......
Little Mermaid!
I thought it would be fun to make her a cake for this birthday and enlisted Sarah, the artist, to come over and help me execute this fine art form. Sarah was tricked! I made the cake and made the frosting but she was actually the decorator! Bwahaha! Sarah was an awesome sister and did a terrific job, of course--even though she was tricked into it.
Love you Molly and Sarah and Les!
Oh and I love you too, dear readers--all ten or so of you! CTM!

Pure genius, I'm not so much a LOL kind of person, CTM is much better!
Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter, the cake looks amazing!
CTM...
My brother types ROR, which is supposed to be Asian for Laughing Out Loud (Rarfing Out Roud).
Slightly racist, but it makes me CTM when he types it...
I told my wife that it's sad that a 100 acre fire threatening Hollywood homes will lead the evening news, but a 13,000 acre fire fought by 8 county fire departments in western OK doesn't get a mention.
Also, I like both CTM and ROR. One I like to use is OMGsh, mainly because it's not in my nature to say OMG.
OMGsh... Our daughters share a birthday! Courtney turned 14 on Saturday... She got a Chocolate Chip cookie cook with candles only! Her mom was not as creative or sneaky as Molly's. Although Bradley did press the Pillsbury cookie dough into the pan! I am going to have to post a picture...
OOPS! that would be chocolate chip cookie CAKE, not cook! Should proofread before submitting!
That's a gorgeous cake!
