The groundhog saw his shadow--but he lives back east where there are record late snows, closing schools and cutting electricity.

But here, the temperature is 87 degrees. Atwoods has trees, fruit bushes, roses and early spring flowers in this week's advertisement

In our yard, the tulips have escaped the gophers and moles.



The Butterfly bush has tiny, velvety, new leaves .



This unknown shrub has that tender new green only seen in spring.
