Thoughts for the First Day of School
Do I have to go?
What am I going to wear?
Should I go for casual, sporty, dressy, summery?
Does this make me look fat?
Is this necklace dumb?
Will they notice that zit?
Am I trying to hard?
Did I wear this last year?
What exactly is a Continental Breakfast?
Where did I put that schedule?
Will the 'popular' kids be mean to me?
Will I get a good parking place?
Will they like me?
Who will I sit with?
Do these shoes look cool or stupid?
Do I have to go?
I'm pretty sure these are mostly the same question I was asking at sixteen. Am I ever going to grow up?
Except now I've added this question:
Is there enough coffee in the world????

So funny! I am praying for you on your first day back!
The kids haven't shown up yet, so it couldn't be too bad... :)
Love this!
I ALWAYS asked the very same questions when I was teaching!
Hope it goes great!

This is a GREAT list! I think I will print it out, answer each one with appropriate "Mom-sponses" and give to to my kids on Sunday night before their first day on the 24th!! And to answer the last one, I'll brew a GINORMOUS pot I won't have to share!!
