Friday we went to the city to do a bit of Christmas shopping before we attended the event of the month--Sarah's college graduation! She is graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts from USAO. I'm so proud of her! It is amazing and surreal to think that after all this time and money and these years, my first baby is an adult!
My mind was just beginning to grasp the fact that she is married and now she is a full-fledged college graduate! No more papers, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks!
Molly came home with us on Friday also. She is out for Christmas Break. She has to go back to Edmond this week to pick up some design projects but somehow managed NOT to have any tests. She's so silly! She just knew she was going to fail American History and has managed to get an A! Extra credit work and being in class daily had something to do with that I'm sure!
It's so lovely to have my children home! This past August, our four kids (2 daughters and their beaus) took Les and I to a restaurant in a town an hour away from here. It sounds crazy but it was so lovely for us all to be together. We had a wonderful supper, a laughter filled ride, and a terrific time together! I got all teary thinking of how the girls and guys get along so well and that they are all MINE (well, they belong to Les to, I guess!) I've never thought of myself as the sappy maternal type, but evidently I am!
