I'm Sick and My family abandoned Me

Thursday, that girl in that picture spent a miserable day recovering from a night spent throwing up.  It was a long nerve wracking day of household disinfecting, doctor visits and packing.

Doctor visits because we wanted to make sure she wasn't sicker than a virus and packing because the two of them in that picture were leaving home for far lands on Friday.

Friday morning found her feeling better and I took this picture of Les and Molly at the airport before they left for Kenya on a mission trip.

Les usually does all the vacuuming and laundry here--he neglected to do his job before he left and now I'm going to have to do it!  Darn him!

I hope Les didn't get Molly's bug.  I'm here to tell you from experience it isn't fun.  I spent the night sleeping on the bathroom floor and the day sleeping in the recliner with the tv going in the background.  I have a tremendous headache and am not sure if that's because of not feeling well or caffeine withdrawal!

Thanks in advance for praying for them.  The worst part of them being gone, besides them being gone, is that I won't hear anything from them till they arrive back in the states next Sunday.

I guess the laundry and vacuuming can wait......

No e-mail reports??? When our daughter went to Uganda their group leader did some posts so we could follow them.

Any wolves where you live? Don't go outside while you're sick and weak and alone, or you might get picked off...

One Last Thought.......

Pleasant words are a honeycomb;
sweet to the soul and healing to the body.
