Molly managed to suck this giant spider up into the vacuum. But now what? Who wants to open the thing? It's currently residing on the back porch pending bravery and high temperatures cooking the arachnid.

Maybe the thing will die out there on the back porch with no food or water. I personally believe in arachnidicide.
I have had this same problem, but that spider is big enough I think I might be weighing the cost of a new vacuum... Of course it looks like you have a nice vacuum, so you are on you own.
As a former arachnophobe, let me tell you that I would now stomp it. And, it's a wolf spider. Perfectly harmless.
8 years ago, though? I would have ran screaming the other way....And called Brent and begged him to deal with it.
I want to call an exterminator just looking at that picture!
