Vintage Thingie Thursday--Teapot

There was a flea market this Saturday at the Fair Building and being garage sale deprived, Les and I had to go!
I had decided not to buy a bunch of junk. And there was plenty of it!

I did purchase some fabric, some termite-riddled crocqet balls, a red and white gingham tin tray and this charming tea pot!

'Cause there's always room for one more! teehee!

It says USA on the bottom so that means it was probably produced by McCoy. I love the blue-green color and the cute flower on the handle.

The seller was very apologetic about the fact that the lid had been broken and glued back together. But I don't plan on using it and a few chips add character! And I'm not buying it for the name or the fame or perfection and I'm cheap! I bought it because I liked it!
And the price was right!
You guessed it--
only one semolian,
one smackeroo,
one greenback,
one dollar--
Sold!

I love your little pot, I also collect tea pots, but mostly Halls. But $1.00, I couldn't have passed it up either.

Great find and love the color! I often keep chipped or damaged things to display--I just turn it around to where you can't see the damage or add a little dab of paint!
Enjoyed!
Have a wonderful week and Blessings to You!
