Ack! I'm living Dangerously!

Seriously, I need to stay out of thrift stores!  I make these vows that I'm not going to bring anymore junk home.  But that's about as sincere as me making a vow to not eat any more cookies!  It's gonna happen so why waste the breath and energy!

Earlier this spring, I packed up a bunch of my teacups and pots and vowed to BUY NO MORE.  I had enough!

But then the other day I went to the thrift store and you know what happened!  I spent money!  I bought teacups and saucers.

I think it was a dollar well spent, don't you?

They are perfect! And considering I actually own 39 place settings of dishes, none of which are fine china I have no room to talk...

You need to host a tea and use all your stuff. That way you can justify it all away! Pretty teacups!

Mary, the tea parties are what got me into this sickness! Molly and her friends would have dress up tea parties (yes, in HS!) and I just keep buying more thrift store mismatched china!

You can't stay out of thrift stores. You have such a gift for spotting the beautiful things. Really, it would be wasting your talents. What I think you need to do is add a line item in your budget just for "honing your eye at thrift stores". Good idea, hunh?
