Flashback Friday

Here's some pictures of my mom and dad. I love them a lot but I know I don't appreciate them enough. They are great parents who taught us to work hard and have fun. They took (sometimes dragged!) us to church and made sure we built our life foundation on Christ. They encouraged us to be anything we wanted and sent us to college to achieve our goals. Even when we didn't know what our goals were!

Look how carefree they are here! High School behind and the future ahead!

Their wedding--Dec. 14, 1963. Don't you just love my dad's skinny tie and my mom's hat!

And look! Here's me and my mom! You know--mom's are always taking the pictures, so I don't even know if she has any of the two of us together! My Aunt Patty mailed this to me and I am so grateful for it!

Thanks Mom and Dad for being great parents. I love you!

I like your idea of "Flashback Friday". I may have to copy it sometime. Thanks for sharing the pics. (Believe it or not, I've only met your mom 1x or 2x and I don't ever remember meeting your dad. Maybe someday....)

It about made me cry to see those pictures. I am getting old. It has been exciting to spend so many years with your dad and then to have such a wonderful family. Thank you for being our number one daughter and sharing all of these wonderful things. Hey, It is just like scrapbooking. Love you, Mom
