Meet Rebecca

Hello.  I'm Rebecca.  I'm absorbing some Oklahoma sunshine this afternoon in preparation for a long journey!

Dawn created me because she thought it would be fun to make a doll for a little girl far away.  I've endured lots of stitching and ripping and stitching while she worked out the 'easy' pattern she found on the internet.  You can't imagine the eye surgeries I've had!

I don't know where I'm going, but I hear I will have a few small toys in the shoebox as well as some candy, a paint box, crayons and some school supplies.  Perhaps they can find my new girl a dragonfly hair clip to match mine!

Wonder what the sky looks like where my little girl lives?

Shoe boxes are due for Operation Christmas Child at First Baptist Church pretty quickly!  For more information, visit Samaritan's Purse.  You can donate money online, follow your shoebox to it's destination, and view photos and videos too!

I love the home made doll for Operation Christmas child. I'm gonna buy my stuff this weekend for our box. Did you know you can print of a label at the website and then track where hour box goes. BTW, do you have a photo editing program? Your photos look like they have some of the neat editing that Sarah does.
