Good to Know

So I'm eating peanuts and drinking a Coke. (Make that a Diet Coke but never a Pepsi, ok?)  Peanuts don't go with Pepsi!  And you should try it if you haven't--salt and carbonation--YUM!

And for some bizarre reason, I read the ingredients of my peanut package.  Probably because I read everything.  It's a habit.  I read the butter wrapper.

I'm expecting, of course, to read the ingredients:  peanuts, peanut and/or cottonseed oil , salt.

But along with the ingredients, the package also says:
CONTAINS: PEANUTS.

Seems a bit redundant--the front says "peanuts,' the ingredients lists "peanuts," but just in case the consumer isn't quite sure what is in the package, "peanuts" is listed yet again.

Just in case anyone is allergic to them or anything......

But just what does THIS line mean? "manufactured on equipment that processes tree nuts."

I thought God grew peanuts - - - in the ground.

Dawn, Please refer to the previous blog and the disclaimer...... Of course peanuts are good in Pepsi and Dr, Pepper and RC Cola and whatever you like. Remember I am of the generation who thought of this. MOM

Why not roasted in peanut oil instead of cottonseed oil?
